The name Dalai Lama is a combination of the Mongolian word dalai meaning "Ocean" and the Tibetan word? "la-ma" meaning "guru,teacher. This is the title that gets the leader of the Tibetan government in exile and spiritual leader of Lamaism and Buddhism Tibet before the Chinese invasion. The current 14th Dalai Lama is Tenzin Gyatso (July 6, 1935).
