Louise Lynn Hay (born Los Angeles CA,October 8, 1926) is an American motivational author and speaker. She is one of the most representative figures of the New Age movement, as well as a precursor to self-help books. She published her first book Heal Your Body in 1976 and is best known for her 1984 book, You Can Heal Your Life. She founded a training institute a foundation and Hay House, a popular U.S. publisher, which has published several works of authors such as Deepak Chopra, Wayne Dyer and Esther and Jerry Hicks and others.
